Job Description Laborers and Freight, Stock, and Material Movers, Hand at ForseMark play a vital role in the efficient operation of the company's facilities. They are responsible for loading and unloading materials, moving products, and performing various manual labor tasks to support the production and logistics processes.

Typical Duties

• Load and unload materials, products, and supplies from trucks, containers, or storage areas.
  
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment.
  
• Assist in the assembly, disassembly, or installation of equipment, machinery, or structures.
  
• Stack and organize materials, products, and inventory in designated storage areas.
  
• Prepare materials for shipment by packing, labeling, and securing them for transport.
  
• Assist in the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
  
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, or assembly.
  
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, tools, and storage spaces.
  
• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
  
• Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stocktaking activities.
  
• Follow safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to fulfill tasks and orders.
  
• Communicate effectively to report issues, request assistance, or provide updates on tasks.
• Duties may vary based on specific tasks, products, and operational needs within the company.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a similar manual labor role preferred.
  
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials or products (up to 50 pounds or more).
  
• Physical stamina and endurance for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
  
• Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in manual labor tasks.
  
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for tasks and procedures.
  
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of tasks to support operations.
  
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills to work effectively with others.
  
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and work schedules.
• Commitment to safety practices and awareness of potential hazards in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
