Job Description: Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders, Metal and Plastic Position: Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender ForseMark is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to turn and shape metal or plastic parts to precise specifications.

• Set up and prepare lathe and turning machines for production runs according to job requirements.
  
• Operate machines to turn and shape metal or plastic parts to desired dimensions and finishes.
  
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
  
• Inspect finished parts for defects and verify they meet specified tolerances and standards.
  
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
  
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  
• Record production data, including quantities produced and any deviations from specifications.
  

Experience and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Proven experience as a Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, or Tender.
  
• Knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
