Job Description:
Occupational Health and Safety Specialists at ForseMark develop,
implement,
and manage programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
for employees.
They will conduct inspections, identify hazards,
provide training, and promote
a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Typical Duties:
- Develop and implement occupational health and safety programs, policies,
and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and
processes.
- Identify potential hazards and assess risks in the workplace.
- Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate risks and prevent
accidents.
- Provide training to employees on safety protocols, procedures, and
emergency response.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and report findings.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management, HR, and safety committees on safety initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in
occupational health and safety.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene,
or related field.
- Certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational
Health and Safety Technician (OHST) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in occupational health and safety.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to promoting a safety culture.
